Frontier Energy Services, LLC – Alpha Crude Connector Construction & BOP – 2016

Matrix Service completed work as a multi-discipline, direct-hire contractor for the construction of 7 tanks/320K bbls and 4 terminals and acted in an EPC role for Frontier Energy's truck unloading facility. Frontier Energy LLC's alpha crude connector project was honored by Hart Energy's Midstream Business as the Porject of The Year.

Tank construction services included:
• Wink Station, TX: (2) 50,000 bbl tanks (96’ Dia. X 47’-10” Ht. OTT w/ EFR) and (1) 20,000 bbl tank (67’ Dia. X 39’-11” Ht. OTT w/ EFR)
• Holly Station, NM: (1) 50,000 bbl tank (96’ Dia. X 47’-10” Ht. OTT w/ EFR)
• Lynch Station, NM: (1) 50,000 bbl tank (96’ Dia. X 47’-10” Ht. OTT w/ EFR)
• Red Hills Station, NM: (2) 50,000 bbl tanks (96’ Dia. X 47’-10” Ht. OTT w/ EFR)
• Red Hills Truck Unloading Facility: 4 truck unloading racks
• 3 pipeline collection facilities

Balance of plant services included:
• Receiving, off-loading and storing of materials associated with construction
• Civil work to clear, grub and establish site drainage
• Installation of perimeter fencing
• Structural earthwork for concrete foundations
• Construction of concrete foundations for equipment pads, slabs-on-grade, pipe supports, and building pads
• Setting of equipment, including pumps, metering skids, manifold skids, LACT skids and pig launchers
• Installation of all piping, valves and instruments
• Flushing and hydro-testing
• Electrical & Instrumentation
• Installation of all electrical components, conduit and cabling
• Provision of labor for inspection and testing of MCC units
• Electrical acceptance testing

Matrix subsidiary Matrix PDM Engineering performed the design of all tanks.
