Calumet – Renewable Fuels Facility

Matrix performed the engineering, fabrication, and construction of seven storage tanks at the Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P. facility. Matrix PDM Engineering performed the engineering related to the project.

The tanks support the production of up to 15,000 barrels per day of highly refined, renewable fuels processed from seed oils, using cooking oil and tallow to directly replace fossil fuel products.

Montana Renewables, a subsidiary of Calumet, expects to significantly advance national efforts to address climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions across the transportation and aviation sectors in both the U.S. and abroad. This project is a step towards this advancement.
