Matrix Service was subcontracted to construct the jet fuel storage tanks associated with the fuel storage facility capacity upgrade project at an international airport. The overall project scope included civil, electrical, piping tie-ins, and construction of three new tanks. Matrix self-performed the design, fabrication, and erection of the three new fixed roof tanks (95,000 BBLs networking capacity each) - approximately 30% of the overall project scope of work.
